Super Saiyan 4 (超 サ イ , Sūpā Saiya-jin Fō) is a level of Saiyan transformation that first appeared in Dragon Ball GT. This level is another branch of the transformation form of the previous Super Saiyan level. B. Super Saiyan 2 and 3. This level is a combination of Saiyan form and Golden Ape. The condition for a Saiyan to achieve Super Saiyan 4 is to transform into a Super Saiyan, turn into a Golden Monkey, and regain control. Once received, this form can be converted back at any time. Super Saiyan 4 was designed by Toei Animation's character designer Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru.
